The first Easter was such a disruptive time for the fledgling Christian church. We usually experience Easter as a reassuring reminder and a time which brings Christians together with a depth of joy and comfort.

Giving Thanks for our Vaccines
Here in Holmes Chapel, as more of our family, friends, and neighbours receive their COVID vaccinations, we rejoice and are glad that our loved ones are protected.

Brinnington and Barnabus
Our friends continue to be most grateful for donations sent from here for the benefit of the community in Brinnington and the homeless friends at Barnabus.
Ecclesiastical Insurance Trust 130 Scheme
As some of you may be aware, our church buildings and contents are insured through the Ecclesiastical Insurance Office.

Please Help To Tidy The Cemetery
If the COVID-19 restrictions have been eased by May, we will hold our first working party of the year to tidy the area around the memorials at the Knutsford Road Cemetery.
Vaccinations for the Homeless
A team from Urban Village Medical Practice has been outside Barnabus’s Beacon Support Centre in their mobile vaccination unit to offer the COVID19 vaccine to people experiencing homelessness,

Restart of services in St Luke’s church

Good News! We are very pleased to announce that limited services of communal worship have restarted at St Luke’s Holmes Chapel. There is now a restricted service of Holy Communion at 9.00am on Sundays and at 10.30am on Wednesdays, subject to the usual COVID-19 conditions of social distancing, wearing face covering etc.
